HB 663 (2003) -  Video Lotteries

Provides for the establishment and operation of video lottery games to be conducted at pari-mutuel facilities; provides for a portion of the income from video lottery games to be transferred to the Education Enhancement Trust Fund and to the counties and municipalities where video lottery terminals are located; provides additional funds for pari-mutuel purses; revises the regulation of intertrack wagering; requires video lottery retailers to provide notice of a toll-free problem gambling hotline; requires the Department of Children and Family Services to establish a program for treating and preventing compulsive gambling.
Effective Date: This act shall take effect upon becoming a law
