Transportation:
Creates pt. II of ch. 339, F.S., entitled "Florida Strategic Intermodal System"; creates the Florida Strategic Intermodal System; provides legislative findings, declaration, and intent; provides for components of the system; provides for the designation of facilities in the system; requires the Department of Transportation to develop a Strategic Intermodal System Plan; provides criteria for the development and revision of such plan; creates the Strategic Intermodal Transportation Advisory Council; provides definitions; provides for intermodal project funding review by districts of the department, the council, and the Legislature; authorizes the payment of costs of projects on the Florida Strategic Intermodal System as a use of moneys in the State Transportation Trust Fund.
Effective Date:
This act shall take effect upon becoming a law
