HB 1929 CS (2005) -  Public Records Exemptions

Creates an exception to the exemption from public records requirements for all records held by the Department of Children and Family Services concerning reports of child abandonment, abuse, or neglect; creates an exemption from public records requirements for information obtained by a guardian ad litem in the discharge of his or her official duty; provides an exception to the exemption; provides for review and repeal; provides a statement of public necessity; creates an exemption from public records requirements for certain identification and location information regarding a current or former guardian ad litem or the spouse and children of the guardian ad litem; provides for review and repeal; provides a statement of public necessity.

Effective Date: October 1, 2005.
