Provides for creation & use of publicly accessible Internet database of habitual traffic offenders whose licenses have been suspended or revoked; provides immunity from civil damages for certain good faith actions relating to database; provides presumption of good faith in specified circumstances; requires DHSMV to develop publication regarding requirements concerning restoration of driving privileges following arrest or conviction for specified offenses; requires DHSMV to post publication on its website & distribute it to specified entities; provides for distribution to persons charged with or convicted of specified offenses.
Effective Date: October 1, 2007.
