Organ and Tissue Donation: Revises provisions for making organ donation; adds additional persons who may donate decedent's body; removes prohibition on spouse making donation if decedent's adult child objects; provides additional ways to make anatomical gift; revises uniform donor card; requires DHSMV to inform donor registry of anatomical gift & withdrawal; deletes requirement for AHCA & DHSMV to maintain donor registry; provides legislative intent for online donor registry; requires competitive bidding for administration of donor registry; specifies duties of contractor; provides for funding & for voluntary contributions to registry; designates donor registry as "Joshua Abbott Organ & Tissue Donor Registry"; authorizes revocation of anatomical gift by donor through removal of name from registry; revises provisions relating to verification of donor's consent at death; revises duties of hospital administrators with respect to reporting suitable donor candidates at or near time of death; repeals provisions relating to anatomical gift education program & organ & tissue donor education panel.
