General Bill
Contract Carriers Transporting Railroad Employees [CPSC]:
Applies specific requirements to contract carriers employed by railroad
companies. Provides requirements for drug and alcohol testing and rest
periods. Requires that contract carriers keep logs and maintain certain
insurance coverage. Requires the DOT to adopt rules regulating such contract
carriers. Requires the department to inform contract carriers and railroad
companies of applicable requirements and statutes.
