Inspection of Nursing Homes: Provides that nursing homes inspected by AHCA are exempt from inspection by DOH & State Fire Marshal; clarifies that any person may make complaint against long-term care facility, including employee of that facility; repeals provision relating to onsite administrative assessments of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, & adult family-care homes conducted by local ombudsman council; repeals provision relating to requirement that agency make available to public, distribute, & post reports & records concerning licensed nursing homes operating in state; revises agency reporting requirements; requires agency to indicate level of seriousness of deficiencies under federal requirements specified by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; repeals provision relating to nursing home quality & licensure status & Gold Seal Program; repeals provision relating to requirement of staff of Comprehensive Assessment & Review for Long-Term Care Services to conduct assessment & review of sample of individuals whose nursing home stay is expected to exceed certain number of days.
