HB 623 (2012) -  Cancer Chemotherapy Treatment Parity

Requires individual or group insurance policies & health maintenance contracts providing coverage for cancer chemotherapy treatment to provide at least equally favorable coverage for prescribed, orally administered anticancer medications; specifies that compliance with requirement may not be achieved by increasing policy or contract copayments, deductibles, or coinsurance amounts applicable to intravenously administered or injected anticancer medications; provides construction.
