HJR 391 (2017) -  Minimum Salaries for Full-time Public School Teachers

Proposes amendment to State Constitution to establish minimum salaries for new & experienced full-time teachers in public schools. By 2019, minimum salaries of new & experienced full-time teachers in public schools must be at least national average salaries of new & experienced full-time teachers in public schools. Any salary adjustments are independent of employee benefits & may not result in decreased employee benefits or impair collective bargaining. State must fund any required salary increases.
