Specialty Nursing: Establishes the nursing practitioner category of clinical nurse specialist and provides for certification of such nurses; provides for registration of advanced registered nurse practitioners to prescribe medicinal drugs, including controlled substances; redefines the term "practitioner" under the "Florida Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act" to include advanced registered nurse practitioners who hold controlled substance registry numbers and are registered to prescribe controlled substances.
