Naturopathic Medicine:
Designates the "Dr. R. Wilson Geldner Naturopathic Medicine Act of 2006"; changes title of ch. 462, F.S., from "Naturopathy" to "Naturopathic Medicine"; creates the Board of Naturopathic Medicine; provides membership and terms; provides guidelines for probable cause panels and disciplinary decisions; provides applicability of ch. 456, F.S.; provides powers and duties of the board, including rulemaking authority; specifies authority of the board and the department with respect to disciplinary action and revises grounds for disciplinary action with respect to such authority; specifies authority for setting the fee for the reissuance of license under certain circumstances; revises educational requirements; increases the maximum amount at which the inactive status fee may be set; provides requirements for licensure as a doctor of naturopathic medicine, naturopathic doctor, or naturopathic physician; provides fees; provides grounds for denying or restricting licenses; provides for the applicability of certain rights to doctors of naturopathic medicine, naturopathic doctors, or naturopathic physicians who have certain qualifications; provides exemptions from licensure requirements; updates the saving clause; provides that certain rights and privileges of active licensees are retained; establishes the Naturopathic Medical Formulary Council; provides for membership and terms; provides for establishment of a formulary for doctors of naturopathic medicine, naturopathic doctors, and naturopathic physicians; provides responsibility of patients to disclose to their primary care physicians medications prescribed or recommended by doctors of naturopathic medicine, naturopathic doctors, and naturopathic physicians.
