HB 1323 (2003) -  Advocacy Councils

Transfers the Florida Statewide Advocacy Council from DCFS to the Justice Administrative Commission to be an independent state agency; revises various provisions relating to the statewide and local advocacy councils; provides increased access to records and subpoena powers; provides for increased penalties for certain offenses against investigators, including members and staff of advocacy councils.
Effective Date: This act shall take effect July 1, 2003
