HB 265 (2003) -  Public School Employment

by Mayfield (CO-SPONSORS) Kendrick; Littlefield; Zapata
Decreases age and years of service requirements and increases benefits for public school members with respect to the Florida Retirement System with some retroactive applicability; provides legislative intent relating to costs attributable to benefit increases; authorizes comprehensive benefit packages for school district personnel; revises provisions relating to certification, reappointment, and payment for sick leave of school district personnel; requires a professional development program for school administrators.
Effective Date: This act shall take effect July 1, 2003
